The Association of Caribbean Higher Education Administrators (ACHEA) will be hosting its 13th Annual ACHEA conference from July 10-12, 2014.

The Association of Caribbean Higher Education Administrators (ACHEA) invites papers from interested professionals covering areas relating to higher education administration. Papers may address any aspect of the discipline, and submissions are invited but not limited to the following topics:

Work Life Balance: Happiness in the workplace; Maintaining Productivity

Equity & Equality in Tertiary Education: Gender, Sustaining growth in Challenging

Conference Fees

Early Registration: ACHEA members US $380, Non-members US $430, ACHEA members (group of 5 or more) US $350.
Late Registration: ACHEA members US $400, Non-members US $450, ACHEA members (group of 5 or more) US 370.
One Day Attendance: US $130 per day / Non-members US $150 per day.
Late Registration: US $180 per day / Non-members US $200 per day

The conference fee covers participation in conference, exhibition area, conference material, gala dinner and cultural experience.

Hotel room rates:
Option #1: Room and Taxes Only
US $180.00 (single/ Double Occupancy)

Option #2: Room, Breakfast & Taxes
US $205.00 (Single Occupancy)
US $230.00 (Double Occupancy)

The afore-mentioned room only nightly rate is quoted in US Dollars and is inclusive of Government imposed Room VAT of 7.5% which is subject to change in accordance with Government regulations.

For an extra person in each room, in the instance of triple occupancy, there is a charge of US $35.00 tax inclusive per person per night, on a room only basis. Children under 12 years accompanied by an adult stay free of charge. Applicable meal plan rates would apply for additional persons and children over 4 years based on final confirmed rate.
Hotel room rates cover, accommodation, general hotel entertainment and use of hotel facilities.

Transportation

Transportation for overseas attendees’ will be provided for airport and hotel transfers for July 9 and July 13, 2014. The secretariat should be informed of arrivals and departures outside these dates. Consideration can only be given for the July 9-13 period only.
